Passed with a score of 122.. I have never achieved such a score during my mock-up exams. My Maximum score was 94 so it seems that Astranti Mocks were much more difficult than real exam. Thanks a lot to Astranti Team for especially Andrew for the support. I confirm that practising mock up in real exam conditions, and working on time Management thanks to a clear plan is key to pass this exam. It is also key to know the case-study details and the potential strategic Options. General theoretical models (Porter 5 Forces, Mendelow Matrix, PESTEL) are important as well but they always have to be applied in relation with the case-study Environment.

Passed with 94 , I would give credit to Industry Analysis of Astranti . Mocks are good , but Astranti has to work more to match the exam condition . Answers given in the mock are more theoretical.
All in all to pass the exam , Astranti is better than any other tuition provider.
Tips:
Theory: use old books or Astranti Theory
Industry Analysis : Astranti - the best
Mock : Astranti best available alternative, can cover whole areas . BPP also good but does not cover all , I had followed old version of BPP along with Astranti.

I passed with 110 only using astranti materials. I was unlucky and only passed F3 at the beginning of August so it left me little time to prepare for the case study. I found Nick's videos absolutely brilliant and even though my variant didn't really exam any of the thing that were suggested the videos game me confidence in the case study and really helped me get to know Glory as a company which in turn helped me build my answers. I couldn't be more thankful!

I passed with a mark of 97 - I think i really could have got a higher mark but exam nerves got to me and time managment went slightly out the window.
I spent £49.00 on the exam videos & material and i was truly amazed at the quality and detail of what was provided.
BPP / Kaplans analysis is laughable in comparison.
I have / will continue to recommend this college to colleugues and friends.

Glory to God... Passed with limited resources and time. Completed F3 on July 21, 2015 and had just 5 weeks to do the SCS.
Did not do any mock except reviewed the general concepts and examination guides by Astranti and ACORN.

I am delighted to tell you that I passed with a mark of 113. This was my second attempt after a mark of 78 in a rushed first attempt in May. This result was 26 marks better than my best Astranti Mock, so I would consider the Astranti marking to be tougher than the exam. On reflection I would recommend the following to SCS students in descending order of importance: - the timed Astranti Mocks offered the best preparation
- Marked feedback of Mocks is invaluable
- The Astranti "How to Pass" videos, which focus on exam technique are a great resource and far more important than specific theory topics
- The industry analysis really helped as I was not familiar with the soccer industry and the analysis saved me a lot of time
- The preseen analysis was valuable and while similar to my own gave me confidence that I had not missed anything
On reflection I believe that the following factors explain my improvement from 78 to 113: Very disciplined time management
- My primary focus in my first exam was to manage the total section time and so my time allocation between tasks was loose. I guess that I may have wasted time in delivering the perfect answer to one of the tasks in each section at the cost of rushed inadequate answers to the remaining tasks. In the first exam I gave a very brief few bullets to the final part of the final section. While I passed all of the syllabus categories, I clearly missed some easy marks.
- In my second exam I was much more disciplined about the allocation and management of time between tasks. I delivered short concise answers for tasks that I could have used much more time to develop and forced myself to use my budgeted time to expand answers to tasks that I would have otherwise considered trivial.
Increased focus on Preseen & Industry Analysis.
- In my first exam I was familiar with the preseen material. By contrast for the second exam I knew most of the details by heart.
- My first exam was focused on the Oil & Gas industry in which I work. I did no industry research specifically for the exam. For the second exam I used the Astranti Industry Research and supplemented it with my own independent research. The real value for me was in developing ready made examples as I did the research and in identifying links with the Preseen so that on the day it was very easy to include references to the industry. While I had the industry knowledge for the first exam, by not going through the research process I did not prepare ready made examples for the day and had not spent time thinking about links between the preseen and issues in the industry
Integration Marks
- In my second exam I included references between sections and tasks to score integration marks which is something that I had ignored in the first exam. While it felt a little contrived these are easy marks to score

Hi there - this was my third attempt at this new syllabus sitting, and probably the 5th overall attempt at the final strategic exam, and I have finally passed with 113. You might say that I am over the moon!!
This is the first time that I had fully studied Nick's course - I signed up for the whole lot in a desperate hope that it might help me!!
I don't think that I even looked at the text books this time. I focused more on the case study detail itself, so that I could quote those little details that may not necessarily be required in the exam, but showed I knew my business well.
I didn't know the football industry well at all, but I spoke to lots of people out there that do and that also helped me try to remember things and examples etc.
Plus I did lots of mock exam practice and somehow it worked! I think I did 7 in total (5 through Astranti) and 2 through my other provider available through Pass Assurance.
The only thing I would comment on is the fact that the mock review returns are far too close to the next mock exam submission date. I received my reviews on the Friday and then did the next mock the next day, which left me with very little time to fully review and learn from.
I would definitely recommend doing the whole course - I thought Nick was great in his approach and I thank him so much for getting me through!!

No, got 74. I was however, very happy with the help I got from Astranti. You will definitely be my number 1 Choice for the Nov 2015 Re-sit. What I intend to do differently, buy some mocks as well. But can you please confirm if I can get a discount as a repeat student?

I think planning and knowing the preseen off by heart was key to passing but typing speed enabled me to get a fairly high mark too.

I passed my exam after 3rd attempt thanks to Astranti. The analysis videos were excellent! Two of the top 10 issues did actually appear in my variant. Getting into the preseen by use of the videos really helped me to know and understand Glory as a company, making it easier for me to draft an answer for whatever given circumstance. Definitely worth the spend! Can only imagine what more I would have learnt and applied had I gotten the full package including mocks and tuition.

Passed with 85. Astranti's industry and preseen were good but mocks were based on technical skills only other three were missing.

I was very gutted after I got a 49% in the old T4 exam, I was scared of the new syllabus but thanks to Astranti I passed . I got a 91. Glory to God

I have past at first attempt with 106 mark. Astranti's tuition is definitely great. I used the full package which I recommend to all. The videos on exam techniques are fantastic; the industry analysis couple with mock exams and marking are just the best way to prepare. Thanks to Nick and the team for the support and great job

Passed with 86 ...very pleased. Mock exams with feedback from tutors and Industry pack definitely helped. And the variant I got was one of Nick's top 10 picks.

I did indeed pass with a 97- and all the credit goes to your prep material. I purely focussed on the content Astranti provided and nothing else and revised it over a week- in the end that was more than suffice to give me a convincing pass.
I am extremely pleased with my result and would definitely recommend Astranti to all my CIMA colleagues going forward.

I would like to thank Astranti for the role they played in me passing my August SCS first time. I was shocked when I recieved my results but with great preparation nothing can go wrong. I used the following materials to prepare.
1. I attended a tuition provider that uses Astranti materials
2. I bought the Industry analysis which proved to be very helpful especially if you lack knowledge about the industry you writing about.
3. The ethics pack was helpful as well.
4. Finally be consistent and practice, practice, practice and I did this working a 9-5 job so its possible to pass even if you are working.
Lastly always remember that there is only Plan A and that is to pass first time.
