Hi everyone,
Best of luck with your OCS exams this week!
We are really interested to hear how you found the exam!
We would appreciate comments on the following:
What was the most useful part of your studies? Did you wish you had done more theory revision? Was the exam harder or easier than the mock exams that you completed?

I think the most useful part of my studies was getting the time management down and knowing how to answer the questions.
I did alot of revision however i feel for these case studies that it is just so broad that it impossible to revise everything.
I felt the real exam was harder than the mock especially as a topic came up that i wasnt aware of and looking back through the booklets i cannot find it .
Hopefully passed on the other sections

How many different exams are there? This is the first one I have sat in the new format. I knew that there were different questions that could come up, but I didn't realise how closely they followed on from one another, meaning there are fewer question combinations out there than I was expecting.
Like they say, the questions are only easy if you know the answers, but I am happy with the ones that I got compared with some others I have spoken with (since the exam period closed).
Agree that time management and the style of the questions is more important than raw revision. Having not done any 2015 syllabus exams I found it interesting that you had to make more of a decision on how much you were expected to write. Under the old exams I'm sure the questions would have been more split up, with points assigned to give a clear idea of how much time should be spent.

Dear All,
Again I found the questions were easy but...I'm not sure if I have written enough or not! I didn't do mock exams but I think mock exams and marking will only help to have a level of satisfaction from your performance. I had bought Astranti videos and the relevant revision materials but the scope of the subject is vast and that too covering 3 subjects! In my opinion a student should really practice writing lots from say past 2-3 months..to be able to excel in these kind of exams to come up with least quality answers.

I thought the exam went ok, the most difficult part was managing my time but the study text and videos I purchased did really help me with this. I had one question I wasn't sure about but hopefully I've did enough to achieve a pass! Only time will tell...

I was lucky enough to have the right topics come up! A mock exam that I completed only a days before the exam had a similar question to the real exam which was very useful.
