Hi,
I'm a student who is part-qualified from ACCA but have decided to move to CIMA for both personal reasons and because the content is more aligned to my career as an analyst.
I'm aware of the exemptions I can claim which would leave just a couple of CIMA papers left to do.
However after sending in my backing docs for the exemptions and registered as a CIMA student, CIMA have not acknowledged receipt of the docs (which the website says they would do within 3 days) and their phone lines have been down for several days(I'm based in the UK).
Does anyone know how exemption granting is finalised, as I can't register for an exam until this stage is done? Or struggled to speak to someone at CIMA? The website says up to 20 working days for it to be granted, but without any acknowledgement (nearly 3 weeks ago now) I'm not even sure if they have seen my application and I'm not able to speak to them.
I'm not sure what to do next, as I can start to study towards what I think my first exam would be, but currently stuck in limbo and any advice is appreciated.

Hi Crystal, I know you posted this several weeks ago, but did CIMA come back to you? I hope you have been able to call them now. Otherwise I would continue to contact them on email and their social media accounts because you need an answer.
