Has anyone else been having a lot of problems with the online exams? I sat the OCS last August and there were some issues with the proctor, but I've tried to sit E2 twice this month and had problems both times. The first time I arrived in good time and completed the test but the exam would not load, but in the most recent one the software froze and I wasn't able to continue. The proctor then cancelled the exam.
Has anyone else had similar issues?

Yes. Sat my F2 exam before christmas and it took 2 hours to start due to issues... in the end I didn't finish the exam and wrote to CIMA to complain, took them over 2 weeks to reply. Online is nothing but trouble!

I haven't had an exam without problems. I sat E2 a few months ago and the hardest part was getting the exam to work. Had to ask for a refund multiple times because of how bad it was, really poor service.

Urgh it’s such a nightmare! Am more nervous about doing the check in etc rather than the actual exam. Had so many problems and the exam centres aren’t open.

Thanks for sharing, I've been thinking about sitting online but now think I'll just wait for centres to reopen, seems like everyone has a bad experience sitting these, don't like sitting with a mask as it fogs my glasses but seems like the much better option than dealing with this...!!

I sat my F2 exam last year, sat remotely with no issues. Very sorry to hear others are struggling - please don't give up even if there are problems, you can do it!

I sat my F2 exam last month and the exam froze with 40 minutes left, the proctor then said they would refresh the exam and it kicked me off the programme and I was unable to continue and unable to get in touch with anybody! I ended up with a score of 91 so would have passed if I hadn't had any issues and have had to wait over a month to be able to sit at an exam centre. Online exams are trouble and Pearsons Vue are not at all helpful!

I was due to sit my OCS May 2021 exam from home. My first experience with Pearson Vue online. Very reluctant to use it and was hoping to secure a test centre. But test centres are not fully open in Ireland yet.
I had a very poor experience. Had issues checking in, it froze twice. Was due to sit it on May 13th but due to check in failures missed Start time.
Got it re scheduled for the following day (Friday the 14th) but approx 30 minutes in, the exam proctor cancelled my exam. Was accused of firstly speaking aloud and then mumbling to myself throughout the exam. This was not the case and the room i was taking the exam in was silent. I was running my finger along the monitor as i was reading text but i was not making any sounds
7 weeks work down the tubes along with my exam fee. Hoping to re sit in August in a proper test centre. And all because of a faulty sub standard check in process and an over zealous autocratic proctor.
I would not recommend this system to anyone. Wait for test centres to re open if you can. A very dis heartening experience
