Weird question but I'm hoping someone here knows the answer, I'm getting ready to resit my P2 exam again but I keep having tests cancelled because of the lockdowns, is it possible to book two exams online and in person at the same time? I hate sitting exams online but this way could I hope to sit that and then do the online instead if I lose it becaise of lockdown?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Brendancima,
I am not sure where you are based but in the U.K. all the exam centres are closed at present. I believe you will only get the opportunity to book the online exam.
From experience, I don’t think you can book two exams at the same time. You also have to cancel exams 48 before the sitting otherwise you will get charged.
I completely understand your stance regarding online testing. It’s very very frustrating as CIMA haven’t in my opinion given students more information and I personally believe the centres should be open even for a smaller sitting.

Not a stupid question at all! As far as I know you can't book two exams at once, so you'll either need to commit to online or book in-person and hope it doesn't get cancelled too close.
Really hoping they have enough proctors this sitting, I imagine it's going to be a really busy one online...

If the exam is cancelled you should be able to book a replacement online without too much trouble. And you should be able to book it at a convenient time, my test centre always seems to be over booked and I have trouble finding an appointment.
I can understand the stress of sitting an exam at home though. My partner entered the room for a few seconds and I was given a warning for it. Had been feeling confident until then but only just passed overall.
