I remember read an article in PQ around a month ago that CIMA would be emailing students sitting OT exams to offer free resits until the end of the year. I will be sitting F3 soon, so this is important to me, but I can't find the email anywhere. Did anyone receive this email, or know if CIMA has published details on their website?

I received an email about the offer when it first came out, it's part of what pushed me to start studying again after a break due to covid. The page is www.cimaglobal.com/Studying/CIMA-Online-Exams/Make sure to read the terms and conditions, you need to have sat the exam in that time period but the resit can be up to 90 days later. It's strange that they're bringing it back. I wonder if the number of exams has dropped sharply? |

I decided to discontinue my subscription in 2021, after having failed the Gateway exam twice and probably a third time after this week's exam.
£190 per exam is just too expensive!
However, if I could re-take it for free, I would give it one last shot. I wonder if I will receive an email. The results are only out in January...

Thank you Florentia. I imagine the number of exams has dropped significantly due to COVID, especially as the predicted second wave has begun closing exam centres again.
I know what you mean Rebecca. The overall cost of exams is very high, but it's an investment for much bigger earnings in the long-term. I can imagine how much worse it is on the gateway exam though, as you haven't had the good feelings of passing the other exams first.
The gateway exam is the most difficult CIMA exam, so if you can pass it, you can feel very confident about finishing the rest. Keep sticking at it!
