Best text to use in my opinion is the Kaplan one. It is CIMA approved. Also the Kaplan P and R kit was useful too. Posted on another thread but keep your eye on the syllabus breakdown. Regarding ratios - you need to calculate them but also know each definition and eg info such a low gearing rate is favourable. It may be obvious but there are so many ratios to learn and you don’t want to make obvious errors Know your group accounts really well. Eg if a parent sold to a sub / sub selling to a parent. Memorise the scenarios particularly where there is PUP etc. Also, I recommend you sit the exam at a centre. You will have to obviously wear a mask but you will get the use of erasable plastic sheets and a marker pen. At home you are only able to use the on screen scratch pad - personally I could not have used just that as there a lot of calculations and it is time pressured. Best of luck.

I don't have an option to sit at an exam center, do you have any advice for the scratch pad?

Hi Paopao. Personally the scratch pad wasn’t an option for me because of the sheer number of calculations. I couldn’t have passed using the scratch pad and ended up delaying sitting the exam by a few months. If you can delay taking it I would advise you to do so. Do you live far from a centre or is it due to Cov?
It might be worth you attempting a mock with a scratch pad if the centre is simply not an option.
