Is anyone else doing F2? I feel like I’ve been reading it FOREVER. There are so many topics, and every single topic is huge.
I've only just finished IFRS 15 revenue, it could be an entire exam by itself!

I know what you mean. Every chapter is so, so overwhelming, and I’m not even halfway through yet. Starting to lose hope of ever finishing...

Hi there,
I finished F2 last month. It is very long and I felt exactly how you both did. The best bit advice that was given to me was not to get bogged down with the textbook. Do notes on each chapter and when you feel a bit comfortable, start tackling questions. Eg the ratios - learn them so you know how to calculate them. This will give you some understanding so when you come across harder questions you can always look back at the text. It saves time. Also, it is vital to keep in mind the weighting of the syllabus This is from the Astranti study resources:https://www.astranti.com/cima/management/objectivetests/syllabus/f2/ 15% – Financing capital projects 25% – Analysing financial statements 25% – Group accounts 10% – Integrated reporting 25% – Financial reporting standards
I am not sure which resources you are using, but I used the Kaplan textbook. Integrated Reporting and Analysing Financial statements were two chapters and actually form 35% of the syllabus. I got to grips with those first and then tackled group accounts and so on.
I hope this helps. Don’t lose hope - you will finish it.

Thankyou terracotta! I'm using kaplan books too, I hadn't realised how much of the syllabus those chapters are so that's really encouraging.
Going to try your approach with making some notes and doing some questions, please cross fingers for me!
