I failed F3 just before Christmas by 2 marks which irritated me! The exam is so much longer than the practice exams and mocks. The writing style and structure of questions are also Alot different.
I understand CIMA want to move away from learning how to do things and just going through pro-formas. Alot of people I work with could pass an exam through lots of practice of repeating the same questions over and over - and not actually understand the 'why' they are doing it.
But the exam design for F3 is unrealistic. Pass/fail it seems no one is able to actually finish the exam. Questions take longer than a minute to read and a further 3 mins to evaluate/calculate and answer.
I understand CIMA is also designed to make money but this exam has seriously affected my confidence.
I feel I could teach the F3 paper and understanding of every chapter to another person. But teaching them how to pass this exam is a mystery.
Does anyone feel the same way or have tips on how to pass this?

I HAVE WRITTEN FOUR TIME F3 PAPER
1st time - failed marked not mentioned 2nd time - failed mark 91/150 3rd time - in exam pearson agreement not singed/ they are not allowed to write exam/ fees paid exam not written 4th time - failed mark 92/150
CIMA plan to earn money through this way. The question are objective type, they given lengthy question and time limited.
I request CIMA to re-look the same and make arrangement accordingly.
