Hi Astranti/CIMA team and others
The SCS results are out now and I scored 83 marks. I'm not sure if this is a good/average/decent score. Does CIMA release ranks? Any idea where I can find the ranks and what is normally the top score?

Morning,
I passed with 120 marks. In terms of preparation, I would say that exam practice is absolutely key, along with a sound understanding of the case study (ideally with the key elements learnt to memory).

I failed  - what is pass mark please - is it 80 or 88?? Is the score they give you out of 150 and not a %

I would thank Astranti and the team for my achievement. i had very short time to study before the exam and i only purchased their pre-seen analysis with top 10 issues. I think they were enough to give me a thorough understanding of the case study and suggest what to read and what not to. i did some extra reading around the top 10 issues and applied my knowledge on the exam day....so here i am with 90 marks. I passed with 90, I am so relieved and thanks to the Astranti team , couldn't have done it on my own. Their Mocks are very good stretch targets and the mock feedback is superb. The exams tips they give are top class ... 'Mock exam Practice!, Practice! and Practice!'. Thanks Nick and team.

I passed with 95. Still not sure what that is in % terms, but I am grateful to have passed. The mock exams and pre-seen analysis provided by Astranti was crucial to my success.
Thank you Nick for the detailed insight and tips. I would strongly recommend this to all future candidates.

I passed with 101. Biggest issue though was time. The Astranti mocks were great but I would also recommend getting your hands on as many variations as possible. Doing timed practices over and over again was probably the biggest benefit. I would also highly recommend the top 10 issues document from Astranti. Best of luck everyone!

Biggest thanks to the Astranti materials! They are far better than the useless Kaplan SCS text! I passed by watching all videos from Astranti twice in just TWO days before the exam without even read the pre-seen before. I have to say, all has been covered in those videos!

I passed with 108, mock exams and past variants were key to my success. I was recommend to Astranti by a former student.

I passed with 99 - found out by email and cannot see the results on line for any more detail!! What is the distribution of these scaled scores?
What I found surprising about the exam was the very narrow focus - all questions were based on FX which did not feel like a fair representation of the syllabus.
In terms of preparation, mock exams were most valuable and I which I had done more to get a higher mark. I also think that reading up around the industry makes it easier to generate ideas quickly.

I passed 99 - used Kaplan for tuition and Astranti for additional materials (5 marked mocks and industry analysis, top 10 issues, and strategic analysis) Would definitely recommend Astranti as I believe without the additional material I would not have passed!

I passed and can't put it down to anything else other than the mock exam practice I did which felt hellish at the time and the huge focus and support the Astranti team provided. All of the lectures and reference material was so well structured and relevant to the exam. Thank you so much to Nick, Sean and Joe.

Dear Nick I found Astranri late on in my studies and only used your masterclass on the last weekend before the November strategic case study sitting. Your advice on that day was invaluable and I know I wouldn't have passed without it. I am now recommending you to all my colleagues who are part way through their studies. Thanks  ? |

I passed with 99. This was my second attempt and after failing the first time round, I bought the astranti videos that Nick did on the strategic analysis and top ten issues. The were definitely the key to me gaining 25 more marks and my personal highest mark in the november sitting.

Hi Nick, I have passed with 103, very much relieved!! Thank you so much and I cannot make it without your help! I had 4 year gap in my study and wasn't confident with the exam at all! Very useful courses and materials and I recommended Astranti on CIMA connect.
Although I passed I still think this is a very difficult exam and I would not be surprised if I fail and have a very poor score. Exam techniques you've provided and mock exams are key.
For those who are sitting future exams, wish you very good luck!

Hi Nick, Glad to let you know that I have passed the exams.I wanted to let you know that the materials from Astranti really helped me. I think the way the pre-seen analysis is extremely good. The way each and every sentence is broken and analysed is amazing. I think that will help each and every student who is willing to appear for SCS.

Passed with 126. Was only subscribed for practise exams with Astranti, but they greatly assisted with study. I would highly recommend the purchase of practise papers to anyone taking the SCS exam...
