Getting ready to sit the OCS for the third time in May, only barely failed in Feb so not looking back and determined to get through this time!
Looking for advice on anyone who's passed the OCS - revision habits, exam tricks, whatever. Even got my workplace to agree to some funding so if anyone can suggest some materials I have a budget of €600!

Good luck gsilva! I'm sitting the OCS for the first time this summer, fingers crossed all goes well.
Would also love some pointers from someone who's passed, it's been nearly 15 years since I last had to write an essay exam and I'm feeling a bit nervous!

Memorise everything. You need to know the preseen thoroughly, otherwise you'll waste time reading it in the exam. Use past papers to practice writing skills, don't waste good mocks on that. Do as many mocks as you can, and always do them against a time limit or it's useless. As you get better give yourself less time than you'll have in the exam so you're used to it. Don't ever use the notepad, put everything straight into the answer.
