Just finished the last of my management OTs. I'm seeking advice for the MCS from those who've already taken it successfully. Would appreciate a few answers to the following: - Most significant change from the OCS?
- Which providers have GOOD mocks? (Not best mocks - doing many providers, just want to avoid bad ones)
- Is researching industry examples still a waste of time?

I sat the last MCS exam under the old syllabus, so my knowledge might be a bit dated.
Most significant change was the need to think more tactically, you're actually making decisions instead of just reporting what's going on. I found that I disagreed with some of the proposals, at OCS I'd have just accepted them but in the MCS I said I didn't agree with them and got a good score so don't be afraid to disagree if you think the numbers support it!
I took mocks from a few providers, and there weren't really any bad ones. Most important thing is to just get them marked, look for providers who do that as it's really helpful.
My industry examples were pretty useless really. Don't know about anyone else but I've never really found them useful.
