Coming back to P3 after a break. I've finished aptitude 2, along with all the practice questions. I've been doing a mix of stuff from different providers and I've noticed that some are much more theory based, but others have a lot of select-all questions and they seem pretty situational and vague. Does anyone who's taken P3 have advice?

I came back to P3 after a long break too! I used a mix of things for P3, got the aptitude tests from CIMA and mixed in as many mock exams as I could find. The free ones from Opentuition and Astranti were really useful in particular, as my budget isn't high.
Honestly I know it's what we always say but I'd recommend just doing as many mocks as you can. There isn't really any special trick to it, you just have to do enough practice questions that you get a feel for them. P3 especially is very vague so just keep practising and don't be afraid to skip them and come back later one you've done the easier ones.

Thanks Florentia. Just going to stick at it but feeling a bit put off to be honest, I always mix and match providers but this is the first time they've had significantly different mocks.
Actually haven't tried Astranti before. Will give the free one a go now.

I know what you mean. I guess it doesn't help the pass rates for P exams are so low?
If it helps, when I sat my P3 exam the questions were about what I was expecting. They were difficult but similar to what I'd done in my mocks. So even if you're getting different question styles from providers at least you should definitely recognise the style when you get in?

Wonder if you can share the advice about using multiple providers? I have the limited budget so would appreciate!

Hi Leonov, it certainly is your prerogative to use multiple providers, but it shouldn't be necessary. Most providers offer some free samples of their products, so why not try that first, like florentia did above? After which, you can make a decision as to which one you feel more suitable for your study style and go with that.
