Hi - Just wondering if anybody can help with this. I was supposed to take my MCS in May but Cima did not provided in the end (but thats another story). However I am now trying to book it for the August sitting but when booking through my cima and then being diverted to pearson vue - There is a screen I dont recognize, it has no instructions or explanations of what it is and simply asks me to select "authoriztion 1" or "authorization 2".
I have rung Cima to find out what it means (given the situations around them failing to provide my May sitting) and they have said they dont know what it is and referred me to pearson vue. What do you think pearson vue said? I need to speak to Cima. Basically neither party taking responsibility/ownership and helping.
Given the reasons I said, I did 200 hrs of work for the May sitting that was never provided to me - I am very nervous when I see something on the booking sight I dont recognise and nobody can tell me what it is.
Please could ANYBODY help me and advise what the difference is between choosing "autorisation 1" and "authroisation 2" when booking your online MCS? I would be so greatful

I don’t think I will be much help as I need to finish F2 before doing the case study. However that’s very concerning that you have had messages regarding this. My suggestions are:
To ring CIMA a few more times as you will get different personnel on the phone. Take screen shots of what you are seeing and contact CIMA via email.
Delete all your cookies, login and try and book again. When I have tried to book my F2 exam I am being taken to Pearson and then I have three centres to pick from. The fact that you are not getting the same is worrying.
Like I say I don’t know how much help the above is but I do hope you can sort this out.
