Hi All Is anyone else currently having problems with P1? I failed my exam last week, I felt like it could easily go either way, but I found out today that I failed it by more than I expected. Can anyone provide any tips or advice? I am studying with Kaplan, are there any other avenues I should try? I have considered whether or not this is really for me, but I have basically been told that my job depends on it. So I need to work out a way that I can pass this and future exams, but for now P1 focus. I have passed E1 (first time) and F1 (second time). I feel like I need some support and help with this one.......................

Hi Laura,
I feel your pain! Having failed it twice, i am resitting again in less than 2 weeks. I got near enough the same score in both exams, so I was quite frustrated after the second attempt! Im also using Kaplan materials but have found Astranti mocks useful. Basically I changed my approach this time round and targeted the areas of the syllabus that I feel weak in. I think the key to this exam is doing as many practice questions and mock exams as possible.
One more thing I found useful is the Kaplan revision cards. I normally use these on my lunch breaks everyday!
Good luck with your next attempt and don’t give up!
