Hi guys,
I've been using Astranti materials to help me get through the Operational Level objective tests, and i'm now facing my first Case Study exam in November, like i imagine quite a few of us are.
Appreciating that these forums can be a little patchy at best, with no end of brain dump nonsense and time-wasters, I'm hoping maybe we can get some meaningful discussion going on how we're all planning to get through this exam that's now only a few weeks away. Here's what I've been up to so far:
I've thrown a fair chunk of cash at Astranti for their pre-seen analysis materials, and so far i've been impressed with what i've received. The Ethics paper gives good insight into what seems like an inevitable ethics-based question for some of us. Without it i probably wouldn't even be considering an ethics question turning up!
I've also found their study texts to be very useful; going through the steps of identifying the requirements and how to plan your answers seems key to success.
Their pre-seen analysis seems well founded on their experience and expertise, giving good insight into the pre-seen material and picking out a few areas that i'd missed from my own analysis of it.
My next steps are going through the strategic analysis a few times, revising the areas that they believe will be questioned as well as i can, and then i'm going to begin mock exams. I'll probably stump up for getting them marked as well, I'm self-studying so money is an issue for me, but i'm certain in the long run it's got to be worth spending now to reap the benefits later!
What are your plans? What resources are you using? What's concerning you about this exam?
