Hi all
I'm looking to obtain a basic accounting qualification and like the look of the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting.
Whilst the CIMA website states that most complete the course in a year, I would be grateful to hear from anyone with some experience in this as to whether completing it in 6 months or less is realistic.
My background is I have a bachelor's degree in economics and have qualifications as a financial analyst, so am familiar with some basic accounting concepts.
Thanks in advance.
Jacob

If you have bachelors then you can apply for exemptions the rest of the papers that you have to take at this level will depend on you. I finished all five papers within 6months.

Thanks for the reply Kkwame. That's good to know. I'm looking to see if I can get some exemptions, so hopefully I can do it in a similar timeframe to you.
