Good luck to those of you taking your case study exam this week! We hope your hard work pays off!
It would be great to hear how you found the exam, in particular we would be interested to know...
Did you find the exam easier or more difficult than you anticipated?
How did you do with your time management?
What exam techniques did you find worked well in the exam?
Which of our materials did you find most useful?
Do you have any advice for students taking the exam in the future?
All comments are welcome but please remember CIMA is very strict on publicly sharing information on the exams, so be careful not to put any details about the actual questions on Facebook or the CIMAforum. You are allowed to talk about HOW you found the exam, but you can't say what was IN the exam!

Hi Astranti,
Thank you for all your assistance with this case study. Like Khumbo above, I wish I had heard about you sooner!
The exam was easier than I anticipated by I was timed out on two sections, and I am not sure that I achieved the pass threshold. The first was from nerves as my hands were still shaking while typing, and the second because I was writing too much! The techniques that worked best were knowing how to consolidate my answers and focus on answering the question asked instead of writing too much (even if the third question took longer than anticipated). Having good examples to use based on the strategic and industry analysis was also very useful, especially as the variant I wrote focused a lot on possible questions identified by Astranti. I found all the materials extremely useful and will definitely use your services as I continue with the qualification.
My advice for future students would be to know the theory well, and use this with the pre-seen and the Astranti strategic and industry analysis to prepare well for the exam. As someone who struggles with anxiety and has shaking hands when nervous, I would suggest that others like me ensure they are looking after themselves physically, mentally and emotionally before writing to minimize the symptoms. Also treat yourself after the exam with whatever relaxes you.
One more point is that there is no spellcheck when answering the questions so make sure that you are not making too many errors with spelling and grammar.
Thanks again! Tanya Correia
